Funeral services for Mr. Cleve Hammons, 84, of Downsville, LA will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., at Downsville Baptist Church in Downsville, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Hank Hamilton assisted by Rev. Charlie Reeves. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville. Interment will follow at Downsville Cemetery.Cleve was born on June 28, 1934 in Downsville and passed away on December 24, 2018 in Downsville, LA. He served in the United States Army and retired from IMC/Angus Plant in Sterlington, LA. He enjoyed fishing, and being a granddaddy. He is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Ruth Hammons, brother Dolan Hammons, sister Dorothea Ham, son Jerry Hammons, and granddaughter Angela Hammons.Survivors are sons Keith Hammons (FuHua) of Downsville, LA; Ken Hammons (Nanette) of Havana, FL; Timothy Hammons (Mei Yan) of Downsville, LA; daughter-in-law Donna Hammons, sister-in-law Mae Hammons, grandchildren Joshua (Emily) Hammons, Brittany (C.J.) Tygart, Debin Hammons, Joey Hammons, and Yan ChunGuang; great-grandchildren Ayden Hammons, Johnny Hammons, Ryder Hammons, Trey Hammons, Lily Tygart, and Abigail Tygart.
