Funeral services for Cleon “Bo” Cupit will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, July 23, 2022 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe with Rev. Skip Dean officiating. Interment will follow at the Masonic Cemetery in Crowville, LA at 4:15 P.M. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until service time at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
Cleon was a long time member of Highland Baptist Church of West Monroe. He was a platoon leader of the 43rd Infantry Division Honor Guard in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Cleon retired from Monroe Newsstar after 37 years. He loved his family and they extend a special thanks to April Nugent, his caregiver.
Cleon was preceded in death by his parents, Gillis and Ileatha Cupit; brothers Everette Cupit, Nolan Cupit, Shirley “Pete” Cupit; nephews Gillis Cupit and Gill Cupit; niece Charlotte Nicholson.
Cleon is survived by his nieces and nephews Judy Cupit Clark and husband Ronnie, Mike Cupit, Kathy Sanson and husband Rick, Scott Cupit and wife Jennifer, Ashley Tarver and husband Cary, Kenny Cupit; sisters-in-law, Sue Cupit and Connie Cupit; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to Highland Baptist Church West Monroe Building Fund.
