Mr. Claude Williams, Jr. Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA Funeral services for Mr. Claude Williams, Jr., 78, of West Monroe, LA, will be on Saturday at 10:00AM in the Chapel of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe with Chaplain Mitchell Pray officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun under the direction of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Born on December 25th, 1928, he was a son of the late Claude Williams, Sr., and Cora Gilmore Williams. He passed away November 6th, 2007, in West Monroe. A retired truck driver for Sunbelt Plastics, Mr. Williams was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Rheba Tinker and Marjorie Williamson; and son-in-law, Glenn D. Hinton. Survivors include his beloved wife, Florence Christy Williams; a daughter, Claudia Hinton; a son, Claude Williams, III and his wife, Charlotte; 5 grandchildren, Johnny and Marty Hinton, Justin and Crystal Williams, and Whitney Griggs; and a sister-in-law, Kathryn Campbell. Memorials may be made to the Northeast Louisiana New Voice Club of which Mr. Williams was a member. Active pallbearers include Joey Frazier; Gary, Leon, Jerry, Richard, and Plesey Lynn Christy. Honorary pallbearers are Walker Burson, Joe Lambert, Ralph Barnes, Neal Duncan, and Jimmy Chapman. Visitation will be held Friday, November 9th, 2007, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe.
