Funeral services for Clark Smith, 55, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at White’s Ferry Road Church of Christ in West Monroe under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home – Monroe. Mike Kellett will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at the church.
Clark Edward Smith was born on November 23, 1965 in El Dorado, AR and passed away on July 31, 2021 in Monroe, LA. He was preceded in death by his father John T. Smith, Sr. Clark was a realtor at John Rea Realty and owner of Geaux Hammock. He loved the Lord and had a deep desire to know and understand Him. Clark adored his wife, Debbie, sharing 25 years of marriage. He loved being a dad and his greatest joy was spending time with his family- especially at their camp. Clark was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and Dutch Oven cooking in the woods. He faithfully supported the University of Arkansas Razorbacks.
Clark is survived by his wife, Debbie Sandifer Smith; sons, John-Clark Smith and fiancée Mackenzie Jordan, Carey Van and wife Rachael, and Dr. Matthew Van and girlfriend Dr. Jessie Reed; brother, J.T. Smith; mother, Patricia Ann Smith; grandchildren, Henry Van and Olive Van; brother-in-law, Kenny Sandifer; niece, Lindsey Smith Sams and husband Will; nephews, Jonas Sandifer and wife Hannah, John Bradley Smith and wife Christi.
Pallbearers will be John-Clark Smith, J.T. Smith, Matthew Van, John Bradley Smith, Kenny Sandifer, Tommy Barker, Roy Duffey, and Sidney Antley.
