Funeral service for Clarence C. Phillips, 101, of West Monroe will be held at 2:30 pm, Sunday, September 9, 2012 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Rev. Eugene Brown will be officiating. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Clarence was born November 21, 1910 in Eros, LA and passed away September 7, 2012 in West Monroe. He was preceded in death by his two wives, Annie Ruth Freeman Phillips and Dorothy Louise Harper Phillips and two sons, Donald Allen and Billy Wayne Phillips and his brothers and sisters. Clarence was retired from Ouachita Parish Highway Department as a mechanic. Clarence was survived by his children; Ronald Allen, Jerry Phillips and Maude Owens and husband John; 6 grandchildren; Charles Allen, Daniel Allen, Jason Allen, Beverly Ann Phillips, Karen Owens and Gayle Owens. Pallbearers will be William Guyton, Todd Sylvester, James De Buba Shaw, Greg Morehead Jerry Howell and Billy Edwards. Visitation will be held Saturday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
