Graveside funeral services for Clarence Allan Martin, Jr. will be held at 11 AM Monday, June 19, 2006 at Pines Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Ruston with Rev. Fred Wideman officiating. Col. Martin was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He was a Colonel in the United States Air Force for thirty years. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bill Martin and Joe Martin. He is survived by his spouse Betty Ruth Barnes Martin of Ruston; two daughters Lynne Abney O≠Neal and husband Dan of Choudrant and Elizabeth Schumpert Hays and husband Mike of Arcadia; one son Clarence A. ¨Hap Martin III and wife Diane of Monroe; one sister Marjorie Stilley of Dallas, TX; one granddaughter Heather Abney Chambliss of Southaven, MS; four grandsons Daniel Eldon O≠Neal IV, Adam Martin O≠Neal both of Choudrant, Clarence A. Martin IV and Wesley Walker Martin both of Monroe; and a great granddaughter Karis Ruth Chambliss of Southaven, MS. Pallbearers will be Clarence A. Martin IV, Wesley Walker Martin, Daniel Eldon O≠Neal IV, Adam Martin O≠Neal, Daniel E. O≠Neal III and James Michael Hays. Honorary Pallbearers will be Maj. Gen USAF Ret. W.C. Lindley, Jr., W.A.
