Clara Frances Rachell

Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Frances Rachell, 95, of West Monroe, will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday afternoon, January 20th, 2008, in the sanctuary of the Eastside Baptist Church in Monroe with Rev. Robert Smith and Rev. Danny Chance officiating. Interment will follow in Twin Cities Memorial Gardens in West Monroe under the direction of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.A native of Mer Rouge, LA, Mrs. Rachell was born January 4th, 1913, a daughter of the late Robert and Lilly Ann Gray Stanford. A homemaker and devoted wife and mother, she attended Eastside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Willie Jernigan and her second husband, Willie Rachell, 2 sisters, 5 brothers, and 2 daughters, Sybiline Monnin and Frances Jungina.Survivors include 2 daughters, Willie Mae Bartmess and Ruby Jean Brinson; a son, Fredrick Jernigan; 22 grandchildren; and a number of great grandchildren.The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Saturday evening, January 19th, 2008, at the Eastside Baptist Church, 320 80th Street, Monroe, LA.
