Funeral Services for Christy Lynn Thomasie-Freeman 47, of Eros, Louisiana, will be held at 2:00 P. M., Wednesday, November 29, 2023, in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe. Pastor Ricky Baker will officiate and interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, Louisiana. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe.

Christy was born October 31, 1976 in Monroe, Louisiana and passed away November 24, 2023 in West Monroe LA, after a three year long battle with Breast Cancer that spread throughout her body. She fought to the end and never gave up.  Christy in life was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and sister.  She was an amazing artist who had always loved to draw, color and do puzzles. Christy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harvie and Ruby Evans of Monroe, Louisiana and her brother, Dylan Bass of Monroe, Louisiana.

Christy is survived by her husband, Robert Freeman; daughters, Shyanne Thomasie-Johnson (Nathan), Deborah Freeman; son, Travis Gray; parents, Lawrence and Doris Thomasie, father-in-law, Gordan Pemberton; step mother, Becky Bass; brother, Ryan Jake Lee; sister, Mandie Taylor (Larry), Brittany Bass, Amand Ward, Rachel Nettles and Granddaughter Harmonie Freeman, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and cousins.

Serving as pallbearers will be Robbie Grisham, TJ Chaplin, Josh Johnson, Nathan Johnson, Travis Gray, William Russell.
