Christine Mann Albritton, 92, of Farmerville, LA was born May 1, 1920, and entered Heaven's gate on December 13, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2012, at the Ward Chapel Church of Christ in Farmerville with Brother Larry White and Brother Terry Cole officiating. She was a long-time resident at Arbor Lake Nursing Facility in Farmerville. In her early years at Arbor Lake, she enjoyed helping other residents and employees and participated in all activities. She especially enjoyed singing and the music provided by area churches and organizations. Her loving caretaker role was always notable in her life. Mrs. Albritton was an excellent cook who enjoyed preparing meals for her family and there was always enough for an extra plate. A delicious meal consisting of the fruits and vegetables from their garden was on their table every day. She was a member of Ward Chapel Church of Christ in Farmerville. Her unwavering faith in God carried her through trials and sorrow in her life. Mrs. Albritton was married to the late Ollie Lee Albritton for 63 years. Other family members preceding her in death were son Jerry Lane Albritton; grandson Ashley Lane Albritton; and siblings Charlie C. Mann, Lavelle Mann, Clyde D. Mann and Lehman Mann. She is survived by her sons: Loye and his wife Kathy, and Roye and his wife Donna. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Brent Albritton and wife Leslie, Donna Frank and husband John, Melinda Murphy and husband Tim, Anne Marie Ambrose and husband Chase, and Derek Albritton and wife Candace. She also had four great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn Frank, Lane Krickel, Michael Murphy, and Nicole Carpenter and one sister, Lillie V. Colvin and husband, Bobby Gene. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 14, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Kilpatrick's in Farmerville.
