Chiri Lynn Thomas, 78, was born April 8, 1944 in Marion, Louisiana and passed away on February 4, 2023 in Farmerville, Louisiana. She loved flowers, the New York Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys.
Chiri was preceded in death by her parents, Thaxton Bowen and Maggie Edwards Halsted; daughter, Teresa Stewart, and multiple brothers and sisters.
Left to cherish her memory are her lifelong partner, Johnny McIntosh; son, Captain “JR” Thomas (Wendy) of Marion and daughter, Becky Thomas of Valdosta, GA; grandchildren, Adam Thomas (Nita), Amber Thomas (Alyssa), Philip Lovell, Haley Ganas (Josh); great-grandchildren, Marley Thomas, Aristotle Thomas, Jett Ganas; sisters, Tina Forbes, Becky Tillman (Steve); son-in-law, Glenn Stewart; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Chiri Thomas will be on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Edwards Cemetery in Marion, Louisiana, officiated by Rev. Michael McIntosh and under the direction and care of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Farmerville.
Pallbearers will be Adam Thomas, Philip Lovell, Josh Ganas, Glenn Stewart, Bene Aviles, and Robert Mashaw.
The family would like to extend special thanks to all of the staff at Allegiance Hospice.
