Where do I start, she was the most amazing person I have ever met. I met her when she was rooming with my grandmother and we became best friends pretty quickly. She was like a second grandmother to me. She always gave the best advice and she always listened to me. I just want the family to know how much I loved and adored her. I will never forget her, and I will cherish every memory that we had. My heart is torn in two. I send all my love and prayers to you guys.

Cheryl found me in Dallas trying to renovate the Dallas Farmer's Market for which she had considerable love. My phone rang and she proceeded to tell me how to approach the task for which I had been hired. She was a very persuasive woman and obviously passionate about the task at hand so I asked her to have lunch with me to discuss it. What I found was an amazing dynamic and charismatic lady of the old south who knew a lot about everything. This began a decade long relationship between us of many phone calls, a few visits and a communication that I'll hold dear forever. I love you Cheryl

I knew Cheryl in High School. We were good friends and ran in the same crowd. I reconnected with her when she moved back to Monroe. I would see her around town and we would visit about "old times:" She will be missed DAVID JOHNSTON
