Funeral services for Cheryl Ann Ramsey, age 80, will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, December 16, 2023, in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe, 1200 Lamy Lane. Officiating will be Pastor Renita Hemphill. Interment will follow in Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe. Services are under the direction and care of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.
Cheryl was preceded in death her husband, Glen Ramsey and her children, Jerry Glen Ramsey, Billy Ray Ramsey, Sherri Lynn Ramsey; and her grandchild, Michael Glen Ramsey Mitchell.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra Kay Ramsey.
Cheryl and her husband, Glen, owned and operated Twin City Wreckers in Monroe for 26 years until 2009. She loved fishing and watching birds and squirrels in her yard. She was always surrounded by a menagerie of dogs, many of them strays that she rescued and lovingly tended to. She loved being around people and never met a stranger. She leaves precious memories with those who knew and loved her.
Visitation will take place from 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M., Friday, December 15, 2023, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe, 1200 Lamy Lane.
