Mary Fontenot Albritton left a message on August 31, 2020:
I met Cherree at Holly Ridge High School. We graduated together in 1960. I remember her to be a lot of fun. When she was around us, she kept us laughing. She was such a tiny little girl and very pretty. We also rode the same bus driven by Cotton Hough. I have often thought about her and wondered how she was. A few years ago I asked some of her kin how she was. They said she had some health problems. I met her kin through Facebook and through an animal shelter they ran. I also remember her little sister Rita, who used to live not far from me in West Monroe. I am beyond sad and sorry to read about her passing away. We were friends and shared good and bad things together. I believe she also ran around with 2 of my other close friends Alice Fortenberry Ogles and Kat McManus Greer. I am sad over this and sending love and hugs to her entire family. I know she loved y'all very much. God Bless and keep you. PS If you don't remember me, I was a skinny red head who married Mickey Albritton, who in 6 weeks we'll be married 60 years. Love in Jesus Name.
