Funeral services for Chase Frasier, age 28 of Ruston, LA will be held Monday, October 26, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Temple Baptist Church in Ruston.  Officiating the service will be Rev. Brian Mercer.   Interment will follow at Kilpatrick’s Memorial Garden in Ruston.  Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Temple Baptist Church under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.

Shannon Chase Frasier was born to Kristie and Shannon Frasier on July 27, 1992.  He is the first grandson of Gloria and Robert Frasier and Margaret and Jerry Lott, who as everyone can attest loved and doted on him every chance they got.

Chase is a 2011 Ruston High School Graduate and played Baseball and Football all four years.  He was a member of FCA and FFA.  Sports were his passion, especially his favorites, The Green Bay Packers and Boston Red Sox.  He graduated from Louisiana Tech University in Health and Physical Education in 2017 which lead him to coach and teach. His players loved him and knew how much he cared.   Chase was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity at Louisiana Tech University.  His most current position was teaching Louisiana History and coaching baseball at Weston High School.

Chase cared almost to a fault; he would do anything for his friends and had so many because he never met a stranger.  When he entered a room, you knew he had arrived.  His large infectious smile and vibrant personality were always present.  He loved and was very close to his family, of course his immediate family, but he had so much extended family, that included numerous friends, parents, fraternity brothers, coaches, team mates, classmates, players, and co-workers.

Whoever Chase met, you were in his fold and be ready for a whirlwind because he filled up every moment of every day.  He never wasted a minute and utilized his 28 years to the max. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his dad, and brother and best friend, Tanner and was always ready for a golf game at a moment’s notice.  But more than that was his love for his daughter, Lillie Christine. Chase is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Margaret Lott.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Lillie Christine Frasier; parents, Shannon and Kristie Frasier; brother, Tanner Frasier (Lexi).  His maternal grandfather, Jerry Lott;  paternal grandparents, Robert and Gloria Frasier; aunts and uncles are Greg Lott (Cindy) and their children Henry and Mary; Robert Frasier (Donna) and their children Cassie Pearce (Hunter), Brooke McElduff (Mason); Lori Kelly (Craig) and their children Maddi, Cade, Audrey and Hadley; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Sterling Day, Chase Gonzales, Jason Johnson, Danny Juncker, J. D. Marsh, Sean McGowen, Brody Neal, Seth Sharp, and Will Trahan.

The family wishes to thank so many for their out pouring of love, prayers, and support, shown during this time.  Especially to Temple Baptist Church where Chase was a life-long member.  We are comforted in the knowledge that we will see him again because of his belief in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is very hard for those of us left to grieve, but everyone’s kindness is a beacon and been a lifesaver for us. We know and have felt the love during this dark time, and Chase is our collective light.  He will always be in our hearts and we all know there are so many great stories to share in times to come.  His daughter Lillie was the love of his life and she will always know how much her daddy adored her.
