Charley was a man's man...tough as leather and dedication to his work and family was all that mattered to him...Custom Equipment Design will never be the same...after Chuck retired Charley was the backbone of the company...I had the pleasure of working with Charley for several years and he never wavered in his abilities or work ethic....he was a true pleasure to work with and equally enjoyed his friendship...he will be deeply missed for many years...

How to even begin. I have known Charley since I was a little girl. From the early days at Hale Trailer, to trail rides at Jimmy Nelsons, to just a few short days ago during our after-work chat. Charley was the most dedicated, loyal individual I had the pleasure of knowing. To his family, and to his work family. Bless his heart, he internalized so much, his heart broken when he lost his wonderful wife Karen, and yet he carried on every single day, working and heading home to do his 'chores' at the end of the day. He will be missed in more ways than I can imagine. To Kenneth, Wendy, Donna, Kyle, Matt, Ayden, Robert, Cathy and all of his loved ones, you are in our hearts and in our prayers, to find peace during this difficult time. Sandy and Gary Darby
