Uncle Bud you will be missed. I was just thinking back to when I was a kid and I stayed with you & Nellie all the time. They were special times. I do remember you laying in your bed asleep & snoring. Aunt Nellie got tickled one time because I was sitting by you and making that snoring sound. I was about 4 I think. Also, I was thinking about how you used to call on Saturday mornings earlyyyyy and when whomever picked up the phone you'd say, "well what are ya'll a doing?" We were like, are you friggen kiddin me...its early on Saturday morning you want to talk to momma. Love you uncle Bud :

You were the best Santa Clause ever at Howard Griffin Land of Toys! I loved to go there as a child. You loved children ,and you were a very giving person! You do not have to suffer any longer and you are with all of your family that have preceeded before you in Heaven. We will miss talking to you...We will always have you in our hearts and will see you again.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

It is so sad to see more family go. I wish we had stayed in touch better over the past few years. I have fond memories of you calling on Christmas eve when I was a kid asking about Santa Claus. At other times, you called - you would ask if I knew who this was and then you would tell me you were the oldest living Avant. I will miss you. RIP Uncle Bud. Love, Donna
