Graveside services for Mr. Charles E. Gates, 75, of Farmerville, LA., will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. at Rocky Branch Cemetery in Rocky Branch, LA.        Officiating the service will be Rev. Eugene Brown under direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville, LA.

Charles was born on May 15, 1945 in West Monroe, LA., and passed away on July 10, 2020 in Farmerville, LA. Mr. Gates served in the U.S. Navy and worked in the Oil & Gas industries as a gas well operator. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Gena Christine Gates.

Left to cherish his memories are  his wife Lynn Gates, children,  Charles R. Gates, Jamie Gates and wife Lisa; April Atkins and husband Brody; siblings, Freddie and Joan Gates, Mary Jo and Sam Herren, Tig and Carol Gates, Linda and Gene Barron, Aubrey and Janice Gates, grandchildren:  Rylee Chapie, and Laynee Gates.

Memorials may be made to the Folds of Honor, The Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude Children’s  Hospital.
