So sorry for your loss. I was just thinking last night, if it wasn't for Chuck giving us our first computer, I wouldn't be writing this right now. It took me awhile to get the hang of it, and there were many times I just wanted to quit and give up. I'm so thankful now I didn't and thankful to Chuck for the computer. He will always be remembered.

Although older than Chuck and only visiting Louisianan one week each year, I have great memories of Chuck, Aunt Mary and Uncle Fern's home. I have the strangest memory that Uncle Fern mounted a TV in the ceiling of their bedroom. As a kid that was the coolest thing ever. I remember sitting and talking with Chuck both in Spearsville and El Dorado for long stretches. My daughter Gillie and I stopped by Spearsville on a cross country trip and went through the Dudley house and tried to do the same with the Carroll house where Chuck was living but no one was home. Bummer. I would have loved to see Chuck and especially since we missed him at the "rare" Carroll reunions held.
