It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles Arthur Bradley, a beloved resident of the Denver area since the early 1950s. Charles was a man of many passions and talents, and his presence will forever be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Charles was a man who cherished his relationships, and he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Harole “Nan” Hill Bradley, their son Travis Lane Hill Bradley, and two brothers, Nathan Harold Bradley, Sr. and Morris Clarence Bradley. He had a strong love of Jesus, his Savior and found strength and solace in his faith. He was a longtime member of his beloved Riverside Baptist Church. His melodious voice graced the church halls and all places as he sang praises, reflecting his deep connection with his spirituality.
Charles’s appreciation for the simple beauties of life was evident in his love for the golden hues of the aspens during the crisp September days. He found solace and joy in nature’s changing canvas, a reflection of his own vibrant and multifaceted personality. An avid sports enthusiast, Charles’s loyalty was divided between the Broncos and the Yankees, two teams that ignited his competitive spirit and kept him engaged in the world of sports.
Charles’s dedication to justice and service led him to a distinguished career as the retired Sheriff of Adams County. His commitment to upholding the law and protecting his community was unwavering, earning him respect and admiration throughout his years of service.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Charles was a man of culture and creativity. He possessed an insatiable curiosity for history, a passion that was equaled only by his love for the world of cinema. A movie buff at heart, he could often be found sharing his insights on film with friends.
We will miss his quirky self and his silly jokes. However, we are so happy he is healthy now and praising Jesus with family and friends. We will see him again!
