Mr. Charles A. C.A. Green Kilpatrick Funeral Home Farmerville, LA Funeral services for Mr. Charles A. C.A. Green, age 88, of Farmerville, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at First Baptist Church of Farmerville. Officiating will be Rev. Kurt Auger. Interment will follow at Farmerville City Cemetery in Farmerville, LA., under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes of Farmerville. C.A. was born on June 25, 1922 and passed away on March 20, 2011. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Farmerville. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theater aboard the U.S.S. Nester and the U.S.S. Vestal and in the Korean War at Barbar's Point Naval Air Station in Hawaii. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW and was a Shriner. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and four sisters. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Cleolis Hudson Green of Farmerville, LA; daughter Vicki Lynn Green of Monroe, LA; sister-in-law Clovis Byrd of Shreveport, LA; beloved canine companion, Lucy; and numerous nieces and nephews and their children and grand-children. Pallbearers are nephews and great nephews. Honorary pallbearers are Sonny Auger, Don Barron, Joe Schick, Charles Turnage, Max Hearn, John Dru Taylor, Cal Jones, Royce Dyer, and Wendell Rogers. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA.
