Interment to follow at Clark Springs Cemetery West Monroe under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.Mrs. Chambless was born October 23, 1927 in Blue Springs, Mississippi and passed away February 18, 2008 in West Monroe, LA. Mrs. Chambless was a devoted Christian and was a member of First Baptist Church West Monroe where she attended Williams/Vines Sunday School Class. Mrs. Chambless loved her grandchildren, crocheting, crossword puzzles and her circle of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Chambless and parents, Thad Clark and Lynn Harper, a brother, Jimmy Clark and a sister, Dora Hayes.She is survived by 2 children, Sharon Chambless Roeger and husband David, James M. Chambless and wife Carolyn; brother, Billy Clark and wife Ola; 3 grandsons, James M. Chambless Jr., and wife Megan, Joshua Chambless and fianc© Cindy, and Christopher Roeger; great-grandchild, James M. Chambless III; step-grandchild, Rachael Causey; 2 step-great-grandchildren, Hunter Trichell and Kori Causey; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.Pallbearers will be Terry Hayden, Donald Nolan, Mike Lowery, Montez Pate, Henry Kirkham and Benjy Collins.Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home.
