Funeral Services for Catherine “Lynn” Smith, 76, of Monroe, LA will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Victory Baptist Church, Monroe with Rev. John Mark Little officiating. Interment will follow at Ogden Cemetery in Liddieville, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe. Mrs. Smith was born on November 3, 1935 in Winnsboro, LA and passed away on August 30, 2012 in Monroe, LA. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church and a retired employee of Central Bank. She is survived by her husband, Clayton Smith; sons, Donnie Smith and wife, Crissy and David Smith; grandson, Nathan Smith David's son; granddaughter, Ashlee Smith Donnie's daughter; sisters, Jan Hayne, Gerri Taylor, and Linda Shellenberger; a special nephew, Joell Bayles and wife, Becky and their two beautiful girls, Joella and Taylor. Pallbearers will be the active deacons of Victory Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to a charity of your choice. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at Victory Baptist Church in Monroe, LA. The family would like to give special thanks to Anne and Fred Windham, Gerald Massey, Gary Girod, Paul Clark, Mary Cymes, Ann Crowley, Janie Sayers for their special during Mrs. Smith's illness.
