Graveside services for Carroll Eugene Smith “Snuffy” 75 of Arcadia, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Mulhearn Memorial Park Monroe . Officiating will be Jeff Hoffman and Rev. Eddie Fuller under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Carroll Eugene Smith “Snuffy” was born November 27, 1934 in Shreveport, LA and passed away October 7, 2010 at his home with his family by his side. He retired from the La. Dept. of Natural Resources as conversation enforcement agent and served his country in the United States Army 82nd airborne division. He was preceded in death by his father, Norris P. Smith and mother, Donis J. Hemphill Smith. Mr. Smith is survived by his wife of 54 years Margie Smith; three sons, Michael E. Smith and wife Jenny, Paul N. Smith and wife Judy and Mark E. Smith and wife Brenda; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter; 2 brothers, Jerry E. Smith and Kenneth N. Smith and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Saturday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
