David P. Cummings left a message on November 15, 2010:
We wish to extend our greatest sympathy to each of you during this time in the earthly lose of Carrie. I didn' t realise she was sick, so the news came as a shock. It has been only 13 months since Carrie's sister and our neighbor for many years, Mary Steen passed away. I just never dreamed Carrie would be next. Our Bible tells us many truths such as "our life is as a vapor." Each day is truly a blessing and at any given time, anyone of us, healthy, sick, old or young is only one heart beat away from death at any given time. May we all be prepared for that time, as it may be today. We are thankful to have known Carrie and we appreciate all she done for Mary in her last days. Again, we the Cummings family extend our deepest sympathy to each of you and we want to also say we will be praying for you during this time. The Cummings family of the Spaulding community.
