Funeral services for Carolyn Head Grube of West Monroe will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, August 17, 2020 at Faith Chapel Pentecostal Church with Rev. Roy Telano, Rev. Dale Bostic and Rev. Justin Nowlin officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Monday from 12:00 noon until service time at the church under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
Carolyn was born February 20, 1947 in West Monroe and passed away August 13, 2020 in West Monroe. She was formerly an office manager for Dr. Lauren Jane Mickey. Carolyn was a longtime faithful member of Faith Chapel Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Mary Beard Head. She lived life to the fullest. She and Stan enjoyed traveling and had the opportunity to visit all fifty states, and many countries abroad. She was Stan’s “Sweet Caroline.” Stan lovingly cared for her during these last few years as her health declined. She was a precious praying momma with unconditional love for her children. When you called she answered with a “Hey Babe!” and always ended with “I Love You and I’m praying for you”.
She was a fierce defender of her family. She left this world to be with Jesus, her momma and daddy, surrounded by the family she loved so much. We will miss our prayer warrior.

Carolyn is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 40 years Stan Grube; daughters Tonya Auttonberry (Lynell), Tess Ballance (Todd), and Libby Grube Hammons (Jeffrey Gray); son Paul Grube (Paulette); sisters Sheila Head Townsend (James), Ruth Ann Head Nelson (Ed); brother Leon Head Jr. (Linda); granddaughters Baillie Johnson (Chris), Rebecca Minter(Chase), Allie Ballance, Kimmie Ballance, Nicole Reed (Dustin), Brooke Dane (Drake); her littlest loves, great-grandchildren Rylan, Reece and Rhett Minter, Haylee, Cody and Hannah Reed, Taylor Woodrum, Peyton and Arya Drake.
Pallbearers will be Todd Ballance, Lynell Auttonberry, Chris Johnson, Chase Minter, Tim Nelson and Jason Nelson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Townsend, Stuart Kelley, Johnny Henderson.
Memorials may be made in Carolyn’s name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
