Private family services will be offered for Kay Correro. Lay minister Pastor Gary Sapp will officiate under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home ~ West Monroe.
Kay was born July 3, 1940, in Downsville, Louisiana and passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020. She was the eighth of eight children born to Oscar and Clarice Wilhite. Kay enjoyed the many friendships made within her church family at Harvest Assembly of God. She took great delight in talking with her friends and enjoyed family gatherings. Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Clarice Wilhite; her brothers and sisters, Eloise Beckham, Pauline Wilhite, Betty Rothermel, Bobby Wilhite, Bonnie Sturgis, Dan Wilhite, Sarah Bearden, and brother-in-law Charles Correro.
Kay is survived by her husband, Anthony (Tony) Correro; her son Mark Correro; sister-in-law, Charlene Harris (Rob); sister-in-law Joan Ann Correro; numerous nieces, nephews, and many other cherished family and friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be Leslie Brock, Darrell Correro, Michael DuBos, E. J. Ratcliff, and Jay Bearden.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date at her church. The family would like to thank all the family, friends and staff at the hospital for the support and prayers received while she was sick.
