Funeral services for Willie “Carolene” Armstrong, 88, of Rocky Branch, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 in the chapel at Kilpatrick Funeral Homes, West Monroe.  Rev. Terry Ganey will officiate. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes in West Monroe.  Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service.

Carolene was born August 25, 1935, in Spearsville, Louisiana and went to her heavenly home on April 6, 2024.  She closed her eyes here on earth and opened them in heaven.  Carolene was preceded in death by her husband, Ezra; parents, Aubrey and Selma Taylor; sisters, Nell Pennington, Faye Davidson; and brother Lennox Taylor.

Carolene is survived by sons, Kenny (Sarah) of Rocky Branch, Kevin (Teresa) of Rocky Branch; grandchildren, Amy Armstrong of Farmerville, Kaleb Armstrong of Rocky Branch; great-grandchildren, Gracie Stokes, Paytyn Stokes, Georgia Ovitt; sister, Jerry Dancer (Ronnie); brothers, Raymond Taylor, Randy Taylor; numerous nieces and nephews; along with many other cherished family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Kaleb Armstrong, Dalton “PeeWee” Spillers, Jay Carathers, Ronnie Dancer, Allen Pace and Jerrell Gates.
