Carlton Lee Harper Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA Funeral services for Carlton Lee Harper, 58 of West Monroe, LA will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 18, 2007 at Trinity Baptist Church in West Monroe, Louisiana, with Rev. Wesley Pittman officiating. Graveside service to follow at 2:00 PM at Mill Creek Cemetery in Saline, Louisiana under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. Mr. Harper was born in Saline, Louisiana May 19, 1949 and went home to be with the Lord on August 15, 2007. Mr. Harper was the founder of Ambassador Baptist Church in Monroe, Louisiana, and at the time of his death was the associate pastor, youth director and music minister at Trinity Baptist Church in West Monroe. He was also a residential building contractor for over 20 years. Mr. Harper is survived by his beloved wife, Carmen Gay Harper; four daughters, Dawn Harper Sims, Jessica Lea Harper, Alena Gay Sims and Candice Marie Murphy; two brothers, Julius Francis Harper and David Burt Harper; four sisters, Mary Lou Harper Cole, Elizabeth Ann Harper Johnson, Deborah Irene Harper Powers, and Ruby Marguerite Harper; six grandchildren, Joshua Michael Sims, Daniel Joseph Sims, John Gideon Sims, Amelia Grace Brown Sims, Anna Marie Murphy, and Lydia Rose Sims. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother and father, Irene Patterson Harper and Francis Benjamin Harper, and one sister, Cordelia Ann Harper. Pallbearers will be Lynn Lillie, Joe Harper, J.F. ¨Bubba Harper, Chris ¨Rhoda Sims, Greg Bagwell and Joshua Harper. Visitation will be held Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Trinity Baptist Church in West Monroe. Memorials may be made to, God Is So Good Ministries, New Tribes Missions or any other Mission Work.
