Funeral Services for Byron T. Ball, 60, of Abilene, TX, formerly of West Monroe, LA will be at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 10, 2014 at First Assembly of God Church in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Mo Seneca and Rev. Jim Girouard officiating. Interment will follow at Kilpatrick‚ Serenity Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe, LA.Mr. Ball was born on December 21, 1953 in Clayton, MO. He entered into his Heavenly Home after a lengthy illness welcomed by his Son Clint on March 7, 2014 in Abilene, TX. He had a B. A. in Theology and served as minister for 30 years working with children and junior high students. He worked at General Motors for 33 years mostly at the Monroe Guide Plant. He had a true servant‚ heart, and was a caring selfless person. He was preceded in death by parents, Lea Haggerty and Ernie Ball; a son, Clint Ball and a brother, Ron Ball.Mr. Ball is survived by his wife of 40 years, Susie Ball; daughter, Christine Ball; sister, Linda Adams and many other relatives and friends.Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, March 9, 2014 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe, LA.
