I was sorry to hear of your loss. I have not seen Buddy in years but he and his family are much apart of my childhood memories. His family and my family lived side by side in Columbia, La. for several years. Buddy was the one that help teach me to ride a bike. I guess I was about 6 or 7 at the time. He was like a big brother to me, not knowing at that time we were near the same age. He came over to our house to borrow Dad's gun but Dad was at work in Turner's Gro. Store, so my older sister, Mae, got the rifle down from over the door. It was a 22. Dad always keep his guns loaded and Buddy did not know this and when he cocked it to see if it ws loaded the 22 went off. Thank goodness it was pointing at the floor. The bullet went through the floor. We all ran out side to see if it had struck any water or gas pipes. Thankfully it had not. I hope your family the best and know he is in a better place than we are. Pat Thompson Nauck - Daughter of Brylie and Myrtle Thompson My sister and my brother both live in W. Monroe now.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers this week. I know how hard it is to lose your father. I have fond memories of times we all spent together going places such as Woolaroc. Uncle Bud was a sweetheart and he will be missed. I love you all and wish I could be there for you. Marilyn
