Funeral  services for Brooksie Lynn Watkins Millsaps, age 43 of Ruston, Louisiana will be Thursday,  May 28, 2020 at First Baptist Church of Ruston.  Dr. Chris Craig will officiate.  Burial will be at Kilpatrick’s Memorial Gardens in Ruston, Louisiana under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.

Brooksie passed away on Monday, May 25, 2020 at her residence.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ruston.

Brooksie is preceded in death by her father; James P. Watkins.  Survivors include her husband; Will Millsaps, daughters; Landri Millsaps and Lucy Millsaps, mother; Mary Watkins.

Pallbearers will be Scott Gowen, Jesse Davis, Jubal Cheatwood, Tristian Millsaps, Ray Creasy and Mark Allen.

Honorary Pallbearers are Danny Foster, Matt Griffin and John Smith.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church Children’s Building Fund, c/o Brooksie Millsaps Memorial, 200 South Trenton St., Ruston, Louisiana  71270 or you may Text to fbcruston to 77977 and follow instructions.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home.
