Funeral services for Brenda Smith, 70, of Calhoun, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at First Baptist Church of Calhoun, with Rev. Neil Everett officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until the time of service.Brenda was born on July 21, 1948 in Monroe, LA and passed away on July 13, 2019 in Ruston, LA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Smith; and her grandson, Robert Herrington.Brenda is survived by her special nephew, David Smith; daughters, Lisa Herrington and husband Buddy, and Tonya Monk and husband Terry; son, Leslie Smith and wife LaRynda; sister, Pat Smith; brother, Ronald Brown; grandchildren, Benny Herrington and wife Keely, MaKayla Herrington, Wayne Smith and wife Courtney, Dale Smith, Mandy Monk, TJ Monk, and Will Smith; and great-grandchildren, Jaxson Smith, Tucker Smith, and Ava Herrington.Pallbearers will be David Smith, Jr., Chris Adkins, Tony Smith, Huey Edwards, JP Rieger, and Kent Skains.
