Funeral services for Brandon Tyler Stewart, age 15, will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, November 17, 2007 in the Worship Center of First Baptist Church of West Monroe. Officiating will be Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Brandon was born on March 22, 1992 in West Monroe, LA and passed away on November 14, 2007. Brandon attended grade school at Jesus the Good Shepherd and currently was a sophomore at West Monroe High School. He was enrolled in advance arts classes and had a passion for art. He also was an honor student. Survivors include his mother, Becky McEnery and husband, Kurt; father, Eddie Stewart and wife, Ruth Ann; sisters, Cristin Mason and fianc©e, Brent, and their son, Ethan Barrois, Valerie Mason; step sisters, Rebecca Griggs, Meghan Griggs and Kelli McEnery; grandparents, Bernice and Bob Forrest and Raymond and Wanda Stewart; great grandmother, Naomi Stewart; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Brent Barrois, Tim Holloway Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., Friday, November 16, 2007 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children≠s Home or to the donor≠s choice.

Becky, I can't imagine the pain you are going through right now. God has brought you to mind so often this past week and I am praying that He will be your strength and comfort in a way that only He can. I will continue to pray for His peace during this time but please let me know if there is anything else I can do.

I was Brandon's art teacher a couple of years ago. He was such a precious child and was a student I still held so dear to my heart. He had such a wonderful spirit about him and was amazingly talented and intelligent. I grieve this loss with you, his family, and lift you up in much prayer. I will forever be marked because I was fortunate enough to teach this precious soul. May God's comfort be upon you.

Brandon was such a precious and endearing young man. He was friends with my daughter, Evan. They were in talented art together and she just absolutely adored him.
