This service will be officiated by Rev. Warren Eckhardt, Rev. Jason Strong and Donnie Williams. Burial will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, located on Hwy 80, Monroe, Louisiana.
Brandon was born on Saturday, December 14, 1974 in St. Francis Hospital in Monroe, Louisiana. He left this earth for his heavenly home on Sunday, December 17, 2023 in Monroe, Louisiana. Brandon attended daycare and kindergarten at North Monroe Baptist Church. He was often found playing under the watchful eye of his adoring grandmother. Brandon attended school at Jack Hayes Elementary, Ouachita Parish Junior High and graduated from Ouachita Parish High School in 1992. He continued his education at the University of Louisiana in Monroe graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management. He continued to work in that field in many places and for several highly respected companies enjoying his trade throughout his lifetime. At the time of his death, he was serving as project manager for DRP Masonry from which he received great pleasure.
Numerous times and just recently he told others his major goal in life was to beat his addiction for the greatest love of his life which was his precious sons. He enjoyed hanging out with them, playing video and arcade games with them, riding four-wheelers together and many other outdoor activities. Music has been a family tradition which he followed by first playing the tuba in junior high. He enjoyed writing music and strumming the guitar while singing along. Also, a family tradition, he had a love of football, especially when LSU was playing. He had a contagious laugh, sparkling brown eyes and a smile that lit up the room. His pleasant personality afforded him many friends over the many years. This was dampened by his never ending yet always present struggle with addiction. Many people touched Brandon’s life in an attempt to lay that demon to rest. The entire family will be forever grateful for the love and concern shown to Brandon regarding this matter. He was truly, honestly and always loved unconditionally by his family and friends. He will be missed forever and a day.
