Graveside Services for Bobby Ray Herring, 78, of Marion, LA will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2007 at Birds Chapel Cemetery in Truxno, LA; Officiating will be Rev. Matt Foreman. Arrangements are under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA. Mr. Herring was 32nd Mason, in the united States Army. Bob enjoyed planting whether it was flowers, trees or a garden. He enjoyed working at his place of business at Hwy 2 grocery. He also enyoyed playing domino≠s with his buddies. His special friends were Daniel Colvin, Thomas Monk, Joey Evans, Papa Jones, Graydon Fitzgerald and Cole Mantee. He is survived by his wife Sadie Nale Herring of Marion, LA; sisters, Joyce Mills and husband Dewayne of Dubach, LA; Ruby Heard and husband Horace of Homer, LA; Patsy Slack and husband Robert of Dubach, LA; Sue Chandler of Haynesville, LA; brother, Frank Herring Jr. and wife Betty of Bernice, LA; special son, Ray Herring of Farmerville, LA; step-son, James and wife Sally Knight of Laran, LA; step-daughter, Jeanette and husband Jimmy of Truxno, LA; step-son, Harlin and wife Karen Knight of Farmerville, LA; step-daughter, Amy and husband Kenneth McAdams of Laran, LA; step-daughter, Lisa and husband Larry McAdams of Laran, LA; step-son, Boyd and Paula Knight of Truxno, LA, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
