Private family graveside service for Bobby Joe Walker, Sr., will be held at Aulds Chapel Cemetery, Downsville, LA . Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2024 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Bobby was born October 23, 1941 in Downsville, LA and passed away March 11, 2024 in Monroe, LA.

Bobby was retired from Bancroft Paper after 40 years and then drove a truck for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Mildred Walker; wife Barbara Ann Walker; brother Charles Walker; sister Charlotte Walker Haley and grandson Jerry Don Walker, Jr.

Bobby is survived by sons, Bobby Joe Walker, Jr. and  Jerry Don Walker (Kaila Griggs Walker); daughter, Tracie Leehy; grandchildren, Brittany Festervan (Jacob), Aaron Walker, Mitch Walker (Maddie), Dillon Walker (Hannah), Chase Leehy  (Jade), Conner Leehy  and Chloe Leehy; great-grandchildren, Jordan Festervan and Camryn Festervan.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mitch Walker, Dillon Walker, Chase Leehy, Connor Leehy, Aaron Walker and James Garland.
