I was a young 18yr old Tech student and met Bobby at Patterson's. Followed him to Ledford Hair Care until I graduated. Moved away and years later moved back to the Monroe area and picked up where I began, back in the chair! I respected Bobby for his love of his wife and of his family.....I recall his daughters being very young and he just gloated over them. Bobby always had a story to tell and you could guarantee walking away with a good laugh and a darn good haircut! Rest in peace Bobby.
Mark Miller left a message on January 17, 2021:
Bobby was my barber for nearly 15 years. I always looked forward to sitting in that chair talking with Bobby mainly about fishing; he treated me like a good friend from the beginning. He always worked me into his schedule and whenever I entered his shop, he greeted me warmly with a big old smile on his face. I will miss him very much because he was one of the “good guys”.

Losing my barber is like losing my brother. From the time that Bobby's dad, Cliff died, Bobby has been a part of my liife. His mom worked for me and Bobby cut my hair. I won't be able to attend services in person because of I am recovering from Covid, but know that I will be there in spirit. Also know that I am praying for the Peace of Jesus Christ to be with all the family during this difficult time. Ernest

We have lost a truly good man. We can take some joy as we know where he is today. He was a strong Christian and great family man. Not only was he my barber, but I considered him a good friend. Always enjoyed my haircut every 3 weeks. Knew we would have some good stories and most of all just laugh. Often heeded his advice on some things. I will surely miss him as I know the family will. Will keep the family in my prayers. —Fred Sutton
