Kilpatrick Funeral Home Farmerville, LA. Bobbie Roberts Miller Bobbie was born Roberta Carolyn Roberts on August 7, 1926, in Shreveport. She was the youngest of eight children, the daughter of Methodist minister William Franklin Roberts, Sr. and Blanche Bradford Roberts. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-six years, Bobby Gayle Miller, her parents, two brothers; Marion Roberts and Edgar Roberts, and four sister; Marge Deacon, Erin Way, Lena Blanche Laing, and Jane Elizabeth Roberts. She is survived by one brother, Rev. William F. Roberts, Jr., a son Jim Miller and wife Pat of Farmerville, a daughter Barbara Bryan and husband, Warren of Ruston; granddaughters, Heather Wilkinson and husband Andy, and Tammy Avant and husband Marc; great-grandchildren Nate Wilkinson, Bryan, and Natalie Avant. Bobbie was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother. Her favorite activities were cooking, bird watching, and caring for her cat, Rusty. She was a dedicated and faithful member of Farmerville United Methodist Church, was an active choir member and served in the United Methodist Women. Visitation will be held Friday, February 8 from 5:00-7:30 p.m. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Farmerville United Methodist Church. Serving the family as pallbearers will be Scotty Booth, Stan Bacle, Raymond Bullock, John Preaus, Dr. Tommy Ward, and Joe Harper. Honorary pallbearers will be Miller Booth, Spence Allen, John Drue Taylor, and Stein Baughman, Jr. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Ethel Wilkes and the staff of Arbor Lake Nursing Home, her doctors, Dr. Holly Corley, Dr. James Finley, and Dr. Pamela Guoth and the staff of Union General Hospital.
