Bobbie Parker Sanders Johnston was born on June 9, 1931 in Minden, LA and went home to be with the Lord on March 19, 2024. She was a Service Representative for South Central Bell for 40 years. Bobbie was a 1948 graduate of Winnfield Senior High School, where she was very active in sports, and named Most Athletic. Bobbie was a cheerleader and homecoming queen. Later in life she enjoyed bowling and working in her yard. Bobbie always loved helping others. Most importantly, she enjoyed being with her family, especially her great-grandchildren. Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur M. and Artie E. (Manning) Parker; brothers, Billy Ray Parker, Edward (Eddie) Parker; sisters, Frances Parker Boyett, Betty Parker Brewton; and granddaughter, Kimberly Day Weil.
Bobbie is survived by her children, Vicki Sanders Harrel, Kimberly Sanders Weil and husband Donnie; grandchildren, Jonathan Harrel, Jason Harrel and wife Susanna, Sarah Weil Cardin and husband Shannon, Laura Weil May and husband Alex; great grandchildren, Sidney Harrel, Will Harrel, Abby Harrel, Keith Mueller, JonWren Harrel, Peyton Harrel Gleason and husband Eric, Bella Harrel, Gabe Miller, Jude Cardin, Cole Cardin; and other cherished family and friends.
The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to Taylor, Tamala, Destiny, Angela, and the Elara Caring Hospice staff for their love and support.
