I grew up with my cousin Randy and spent many hours with his Mom and Dad in West Monroe. I remember how much love Jewel and Bobbie had for each other and how they welcomed me into their home. When I visited her at the Senior Living Center we discussed our favorite authors and family. I will always have a special place in my heart for my Aunt Bobbie and all of the Douglas family.

I am so sorry for your families loss.. I will miss how she spoke her mind as well as her sense of humor, although it was dry she could say some of the funniest things. I will always appreciate the hospitality the Douglas's showed to my family when my kids were little, we were always welcome to come for a swim in the pool any time we called and asked. I also loved that she collected Barbies. I will always have fond memories.

She was such a bright, funny, gracious lady. I loved her so much as well as Jewel. She was one of a kind for sure.
