Graveside services for Bobbie Douglas will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
Bobbie was born December 22, 1931 in West Monroe and passed away February 21, 2022 in West Monroe. She was preceded in death by her husband J. B. Douglas; grandson Christopher Douglas, 2 brothers Don and Garland Hendricks. Bobbie and her husband were past owners of Plant World and she was a member of Jehovah Witness.
Bobbie is survived by her son Randy Douglas and wife Barbara; granddaughter Amanda Sanford and husband Ben; 2 great-grandsons Gage Sanford and Carter Sanford; great-granddaughter Addyson Sanford; sister Cynthia Cascio; numerous nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to the staff of Rosemont Assisted Living, and Elana Hospice.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Heart Association.

I grew up with my cousin Randy and spent many hours with his Mom and Dad in West Monroe. I remember how much love Jewel and Bobbie had for each other and how they welcomed me into their home. When I visited her at the Senior Living Center we discussed our favorite authors and family. I will always have a special place in my heart for my Aunt Bobbie and all of the Douglas family.

I am so sorry for your families loss.. I will miss how she spoke her mind as well as her sense of humor,although it was dry she could say some of the funniest things. I will always appreciate the hospitality the Douglas's showed to my family when my kids were little, we were always welcome to come for a swim in the pool any time we called and asked. I also loved that she collected Barbies. I will always have fond memories.
