Funeral services for Billy “Sonny” Antley of  Point, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Providence Baptist Church, Hwy. 552, Point, LA with Bro. James Tarrance and Bro. Louis Bartett officiating. Interment will follow at Acree Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Billy was born August 21, 1935 in Point, LA and passed away February 6, 2022 in Monroe, LA. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church Point, LA. Billy was a machinist and cattleman. He was preceded in death by his parents Ford and Ava Smith Antley; siblings Victor Antley, Smith Antley, Aubrey Antley, Huey Antley, Jean Antley Davis, Grace Antley Pixley, Betty Antley Tucker and a granddaughter Sunshine Antley.

Billy is survived by his wife Ivie Dodd Bates Antley; children Lonnie Dale Antley and wife Terri, Billy Clyde Antley and wife Kathy, Robert Goree Antley and wife Cheryl, Glen Antley and wife Donna, Sidney Ford Antley and wife Sherri, Richard Bates and wife Martha and Donna Bates Uptergrove; 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law Bobbie Kirkland Antley; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers Robbie Antley, Melvin Harris, Chris Antley, Yjohan Nai Antley, Ernie Bruce and Rodney Remore.

Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Antley and Junior Bearden.

A special thanks to nurses and doctors at St. Francis Hospital and Louisiana Hospice Care and staff.
