Officiating the services will be Rev. Cory Bruce. Interment will follow at Fellowship Cemetery in Dubach under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.Mr. Knowles was born March 8, 1931 and passed away July 10, 2015.He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter-in-law: Minnie Knowles; and sister: Penny Ford.Mr. Knowles was a graduate of Dubach High School. He was a logging contractor for over 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, his family and spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Knowles was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dubach. He is survived by his wife of 60 years: Rosemary Knowles of Dubach; children: Billy Don (Donnie) Knowles of Dubach, and Kathy League and husband Schuyler of Ruston; grandchildren: Ben Knowles and wife Kim of Indiana, Justin League and wife Sue of California, and Kaitlyn League of Ruston; great grandchild: Amber League of California; siblings: Ted Knowles of Dubach, Betty Joyce Walker of West Monroe, Terry Knowles of Dubach and Ruby Rainbolt of Ruston; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
