It was with surprise and great sadness that I learned of Mr. Bill's death. He was simply one of the best neighbors a person could have. I will always treasure his kindness and helpfulness with my mother when she was living nearby as well as his advice to me. His protectiveness and concern were constant and a reminder of a time when country, honor and kindness were foremost. He will always be remembered by my family with affection.

I am truly saddened to hear that Mr. Thompson has passed away. I tell my family all the time that my fondest memories as a young boy were playing summer baseball and how I had coaches that were great role models. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Gary J
