Funeral services for Billy George McKinnie will be held Tuesday, March 29^th, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville, La. A visitation for friends will be held prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Wayne Williams will officiate. Graveside services will follow at Liberty/Linville Cemetery in Linville, La.

Billy George was preceded in death by his parents Claudis and Ida Lee McKinnie and a sister Claudine Snell. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 20 years Polly McKinnie, children, Johnny White (Amanda) of Spencer, Deb Brown (Sean) of Farmerville and Stephanie Farmer (George) of Killen, Texas; grandchildren, Jensine Allen (Rickey), Dalton Brown, Hannah Jerkins, and Savannah Bernard (Lucas). Also surviving are great-grandchildren, Luke Gates, Liam Raley, Conner Raley and Cameron Allen, brother Eddie McKinnie (Judy),  sisters Ann Smith (Danny) and Sarah Marshall (Charlie) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Honoring him as pallbearers are Johnny White, Daniel Smith, Milas Jo Davidson, Robert Snell, James Snell and Rickey Allen. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Luke Gates, Liam Raley, Conner Raley, Tony Dorsey, Kirt Huffman and Danny Smith.

The family would like to thank the staff and employees of Arbor Lake Nursing Home, Fresenius Dialysis and Glenwood Regional Medical Center.
