Billy Williamson Kilpatrick Funeral Homes Farmerville, LA. BILLY GENE WILLIAMSON Billy Gene Williamson of Haile, LA was born July 7, 1928 in Linville, LA and passed from this life on Sunday, October 24, 2010 after a brief illness. Services for Mr. Williamson, age 82, will be held at Farmerville Church of Christ, Farmerville, LA on Wednesday, October 27th, at 2:00 PM with Les Jackson and Larry White officiating. Interment will be in Spigener Cemetery, Linville, LA. Billy served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, retired from Texas Gas, and was the owner of several small businesses. He was an active member of the Haile Church of Christ. Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Fannie Mae Pace Williamson. He is survived by his daughters, Fran Philley and Jill Hodge and husband, Rusty; grandchildren, Sara Philley and Hope Hodge; a niece, nephews, cousins and friends. Pallbearers will be John Pace, Bodie Lankford, G.V. “Bub” Sehon, Lanny Parker, Lee Brantley, and Jimmy Dean. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 from 5 – 8 PM at the Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Farmerville, LA. We wish to give thanks to Dr. Michael Sampognaro and staff at St. Francis for the care given. A special thanks to Azalea Estates staff and family for the wonderful care and friendship extended during his stay. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Spanish Missions in care of Farmerville Church of Christ, P.O. My mom recently moved to Azalea after my father passed away in August. I had an opportunity to meet your dad shortly after she moved in. He always had a smile on his face and would poke some fun. His passing came as such a shock as he was always the picture of health. I was there when you picked him up from Azalea and knew something was wrong because that smile was not there. I prayed for you all then and have prayed since. I just wanted to let you know that your daddy was continuing to touch people that you didn't even know about.
