Funeral services for Billie Ray Reppond, 78, of West Monroe are 2:00 PM, Monday, June 6, 2011, in the Chapel of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe with Rev. Jeff Luellen officiating. Interment follows at Absent Cemetery in Linville under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Born March 11, 1933, in Union Parish, he was a retired painting contractor, member of Highland Baptist Church, and, a Veteran in the US Army during the Korean War. Mr. Reppond passed away Friday, June 3, 2011, surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlton and Katie Reppond, and two sisters, Bonnie Schanks and Frances Johnston. Survivors include his wife of over 42 years, Judy Scroggins Reppond; sons, Marshall Reppond and wife, April, and Royce Reppond; three grandchildren, Asia Hill, Jemina Hill and Destin Reppond; five nieces, and four nephews. Special thanks to Dr. Don Hammett and faithful caregivers from True Care Home Health and Premier Hospice – Jessica, Emily, Randy, and Sharon. Pallbearers are Doug Schanks, Zane Daniels, Ben Daniels, Robert Johnston, Carl Calhoun, William Daniels and Chris Brister. Honorary pallbearers will be Rodney Irwin, Ronnie and Sandy Sanford, Gary Richardson, Alfred Parker, Bobby Wilson, and The Twin City Group.
