Met Mrs. Donner at Alpine while visiting with my brother-in-law. When taking him to supper, I would play hymns on the piano. Mrs. Donner was such a lady. Always nicely dressed, smiling, encouraging. Over time, I was soon visiting at every table. Grew to love so many, so many that have left this world for the next. How wonderful that I will once again visit with Mrs. Donner in glory. I look forward to that great reunion! May you be comforted knowing she made a difference in a perfect strangers life!

My heartfelt sympathies for your family. Mrs. Beverly was one of the friendliest women I have ever known. I met her at Trinity. She was so much fun. I came to know her better when she and you father were in the nursing home together. I went to visit my dad every evening after I got off of work. It just so happened that his room was just down the hall from Mr. Bernie and Mrs.Beverly's room. I got to spend time with your parents when I visited my dad. I grew up living on Pinecrest Drive. When daddy retired, they decided to sell the house and move to something smaller. When they sold the house, I couldn't go back in the subdivision because it hurt so badly. Then Sam and Leta bought the house and eventually sold the bottom lot to your parents. Sam had his heart surgery, so I made food to take to them and Leta asked if I would like to see the house. Leta told me who had purchased the lower lot. I had a bond with your parents and the Autrey's from that day forward. Both couples so sweet! I enjoyed getting to see Mrs. Beverly at church, but the time came when she wasn't coming anymore. I ran in to Nancy and Mrs. Beverly at Jefferson corner one day. At first she didn't remember me, but Nancy helped her recollect that she did know me. This precious woman will be greatly missed! Praying for peace and comfort for all of you!

To the Donner Family: Mrs Donner was one of the most lovely delightful people I ever met! I had the privilege to get to know her while my precious mother, Sallie Aulds, was in the nursing home when Mr and Mrs Donner were both there. And when she returned after going back home for sometime. She was always so loving and caring to everyone there. We so enjoyed our time singing and worshiping together. I feel so blessed to have known her. I loved her very very much!! My sympathies to your family. Carolyn Aulds Lewis
