Sorey, 71, of West Monroe, will be held on Thursday, February 7th, 2008, at 2:00PM in the Chapel of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Officiating will be Bill Smith. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA, under the direction of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe.Born August 19th, 1936, in Bernice, LA, she was a daughter of the late Ray and Vera Mabry Telford. She passed away Sunday, February 3rd, 2008, in West Monroe. A homemaker and loving mother and grandmother, Mrs. Sorey was a long-time member of Whites Ferry Road Church of Christ.Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Moore and husband, Steve; her son, Ray Sorey and his wife, Elizabeth; 3 grandchildren, Beth Sorey, Chelsea and Jonathan Moore; her sister, Patsy Hobson; her brother, Brodie Telford; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.Pallbearers Brice Telford, Sean Rogers, Christopher Long, Jamie Hobson, Jimmy Telford, Van Grafton, Larry Earwood, and Gary Simmons,Visitation will be Wednesday, February 6th, 2008 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
