Graveside services for Betty Plunkett, 85, of West Monroe will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
Betty was born January 2, 1937 in War, West Virginia, and passed away September 25, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband Clayton Aaron Plunkett; daughter Debra Kay Bracken; parents Dallas and Martha Stanton; siblings Dallas Stanton, Jr., James Stanton, and Nancy DeHart.
Betty loved her husband and missed him dearly until her last breath. She loved her children, but loved her grandchildren more. Betty loved her dog Coconut. She loved to travel, work her word search puzzles, and cook for her family, especially during the holidays. She also enjoyed watching Fox News and western movies.
Betty is survived by her children Kathy Weinholt and husband Frank, David Campagana, Vickie Wheelis and husband Phillip; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
