Funeral services for Betty Compton Aston, 60, of West Monroe will be at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 16, 2015 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe with Reverend Michael ONeal, Reverend Michael Stravato, and B. B. Angelo officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.She was born August 8, 1954 in Monroe, LA and passed away March 13, 2015 in West Monroe. She was married to Jerry Dent Aston, Jr. for 36 years, and was retired from LSU Health Science Center. She attended the University of Louisiana, Monroe, was a member of the Zeta Sorority, and was known by many as ULM #1 fan. She was a loving daughter, wife, sister, mother and grandmother.Mrs. Aston was preceded in death by her father, Mose Compton; mother, Florence Odom Compton and brother, Jerry Compton.Betty is survived by her husband, Jerry Aston, Jr.; brother, Danny Compton and wife Rhonda; daughters, Aubrey Aston and Khristy ONeal and husband Michael, II; mother and father-in-law, Linda and Jerry Aston, Sr.; grandsons, Michael David III, Wesley Paul, Tristan; granddaughters, Julia and Alanie; and nephews, Brent and Robbie.Pallbearers will be Brent Compton, Robbie Compton, David Aston, Lawrence Guidry, Michael David ONeal II, Michael David ONeal III, and Tristan Moore.Visitation will be from 4:00 7:00 PM, Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.Memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or Account 9612 at any Chase Bank.
